I don't actually have a business but I am doing flowers for my friends wedding/shower/retirement/etc. Can I buy flowers?

You can absolutely buy flowers from our DIY shop.

When can I place my order?

We release inventory via Local Line, our e-commerce platform, about two weeks in advance. It is usually ready by Tuesday morning (sometimes sooner).  We tend to be a little more conservative with that two-week-out projection and will then add additional inventory when we are about 7-10 days out.

Example: On Tuesday, June 3rd we will release our inventory for the week of June 16th. We will also add more products/additional inventory for the week of June 9th.

Mother Nature is in charge here. We aren't trying to build anticipation or anything. We simply do not always know what will be available more than a couple weeks ahead of time.

Can I place a special order before your inventory is released?

Sort of. You can email us with what you are looking for and we can give you a general idea of what to expect. Some things we are pretty sure we'll have. Some things we know we will definitely not have. Some things we are crossing our fingers right along with you. At that point you will have to decide if you want to wait and see. Frequently your local wholesaler can still secure items for you within a week or two of the date you need them.

Short answer: If you need to be placing your orders a month in advance, we are not the wholesaler for you at this time.

I really want to use more locally grown flowers but I do like to order three to four weeks in advance. What do you suggest?

We suggest that you place most of your regular order with your regular wholesaler but save room in your budget for us. How much is up to you but we think that setting aside 10-20% for local product is a great place to start.  When you are making your recipe add a line for "seasonal surprise" or something like that.

What if I am flexible on what I actually need? How do I order that?

That's great. We love flexibility. You can either:

  1. Place an order and then select the the "pay later" or Cash/Check  payment option and leave us a note at check out. We can still adjust your order on our end if it has not been paid for.
  2. Send us an email with your request. We can enter a rough draft at that time and then adjust it once we release the inventory for that week. You will get an email confirmation. Do not pay for it until we adjust it into your actual order.

Example: You need 15 bunches of zinnias and/or dahlias in shades of pink, peach, and orange but you don't care too much about the exact make up of the order as long as there's a little of everything.

I already ordered but now I want more stuff. What do I do?

Just place another order. If it is for the same person on the same day we'll know to combine them and deliver together. If you already placed an order and paid for delivery on that date, you can select the "pick up at the farm" option when you check out. It helps if you leave us a note so we know to look for your other order.

What if you are out of something that I ordered?

We try our best to not oversell but sometimes things happen. We will contact you as soon as we know (usually a day or three ahead of your delivery) so you can try to make other arrangements. We will try to offer you some substitution options, though we know there is no substitute for certain items. We will issue you a store credit, which will automatically be applied to your next order. If you prefer a refund to your credit card let us know within one week. Our default is store credit.

What if I got something that was poor quality?

We try our best to only send out high quality product but sometimes things happen. We need you to report it to us via email with some images within 24 hours of receipt. Please note that we cannot be responsible for the product once it has left our care. We will determine if your claim qualifies for replacement, partial, full, or no credit and notify you within one week or your claim. We will issue you a store credit, which will automatically be applied to your next order. If you prefer a refund to your credit card let us know within one week. Our default is store credit.

What are your delivery days?

We are currently doing most of our deliveries on Tuesday and Wednesday. Select which day you prefer when placing your order and we will try to make it happen, but if you're a little further away we are going to group delivery days accordingly.

We can also delivery in the Milwaukee area on Thursday and Friday. Timing on all of these days is variable.

What is your delivery radius? Can you deliver to me?

This is a thing we are working to expand but generally:

  • Milwaukee County: Yes, we absolutely deliver to you. We can delivery most weekdays if you are flexible on timing.
  • Racine, Kenosha, Walworth, Waukesha, Ozaukee, and Washington counties: We do deliver to you but may ask for some flexibility in the day of the week.
  • Chicago area: Please order through the Chicago Flower Market.
  • Dane County: We are trying to make this happen. Probably on Wednesdays.
  • Fox Valley, Sheboygan, Green Bay: We can likely do special orders for a $600 minimum. We would love to make this a regular thing next year. Please reach out and let us know if you are interested.

Can I just come and shop the cooler?

Not really. We do not have a regular sales person that is hanging around ready to greet you. And we are mainly harvesting to order. We are trying not to waste our time with certain old-school ways that you may have gotten used to with other growers.

We do know that some people are just more visual and need to come and look to make some decisions. That is fine if you let us know when you are coming and roughly how much you need/what you are looking for. We don't mind harvesting a little extra so that you can decide what you like. But it's not a thing that we just do in case someone happens to stop by.

Help! I'm having technical difficulties placing my order!

If you are trying to get an order in but for some reason you cannot check out: First, make sure that you are logged into your account. We also have a retail list with different settings, so make sure you're ordering from our wholesale price lists.

Please try one or more of the following:

  1. Select a different date (even if it doesn't make sense).
  2. Select pick up instead of delivery.
  3. Select the Cash/Check payment option.

We can adjust delivery details and payment methods on our end after you have placed your order.  This will ensure that you get the stuff you want without having to wait for us to help you. Especially if you are ordering during the weekend.

What is the order cut off?

All orders need to be placed by 7 AM the day before. That means Friday for a Monday order.

Can I come see your beautiful flower farm?

Absolutely! We love the farm and we know that you will too! Just schedule a time with us so that we can set aside some time to show you around.
